I’m using my phone personal hotspot and I can’t connect to PeekTime, why is it not working ?

As any video solution, the more stable and fast the connection is the better. PeekTime works with Wifi or Ethernet good quality 4G.

My guest didn’t receive the invitation email to join the videoconference ? How can he get it ?

Depending on the configuration of your guest’s email server, the invitation may land in junk mail: ask your guest to mark the address no-reply@peektime.com as legitimate.

I received a PeekTime link on my phone but it doesn’t work, what can I do ?

PeekTime does not have its own mobile app. If you need to log in from a smartphone or tablet you can use third-party apps: Skype or Skype for Business.

One of the participant can’t share content, how fix it ?

PeekTime works on all browsers but the experience is optimized on Chrome. Content sharing only works on Chrome: You need to open Chrome and install the PeekTime plug-in as proposed  when you clicked “Content Sharing”.

I turned on my camera but it doesn’t work, I can’t see myself on the screen, how can I make it work ?

1 / It is possible that your Chrome is “polluted” by different extensions that interfere with the PeekTime plug-in: to check if the problem comes from Chrome, you have to login in guest session. If this mode of connection solves the problem you have to restore the default settings of your browser.

2 / My device is not recognized: click on the wheel of the platform, if  you can’t see yourself it means that the device is not recognized by your computer.

I’m into the virtual meeting room but I can’t see the other participant only a black screen.. how cant I see them ?

the issue can be :

2) You may have a bad connection (4G or Wifi low): see if an ethernet cable connection solves the problem.

3) It is possible that your firewall does not allow the passage of the video stream: you will find in this document the openings of firewall necessary for the good functioning of the calls from the browser.
